What ages is MirrorTales designed for?
MirrorTales is built for children ages 3-10. Stories adapt to your child’s reading level — simpler vocabulary and shorter sentences for younger kids, more complex narratives for older readers.
How does the identity-lock technology work?
Upload 3-5 clear photos of your child. Our AI extracts their features (hair, skin tone, face shape) and generates a stylized character sheet. Once you approve it, every illustration across every story uses this reference to keep your child’s character visually consistent.
Is my child’s data safe?
Absolutely. Photos are stored in encrypted private storage and can be deleted after character approval. Every story passes two independent AI safety checks. We never share data with third parties. No child accounts exist — everything goes through the parent.
What languages are supported?
Stories can be generated in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic. The reading interface supports right-to-left layout for Arabic. Narration is available in all five languages.
Can I get physical printed books?
Yes! Legend plan subscribers get print credits each month. Books are printed through Gelato with local production hubs for fast delivery. Perfect as gifts or keepsakes.
What is Story Circle?
Story Circle is our collaborative storytelling mode. A parent or teacher creates a session, shares a 6-character join code, and 2-4 children take turns contributing ideas — settings, obstacles, helpers, and resolutions. Our AI weaves all their ideas into one cohesive story where every child appears as a hero. It’s available on Hero plans and above.
What if the illustrations don’t look right?
You approve the character sheet before any stories are generated. If it doesn’t look like your child, you can regenerate it. Each story illustration is also scored for consistency and auto-regenerated if it doesn’t match.
